Since 1938, St Athan has been a major centre for Aerospace and Defence and currently. Relaunched as Bro Tathan in 2019 the location is home to a number of tenants, workshops, hangars, airspace; and a newly surfaced runway. Civilian and Military projects work side by side, with works including Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul, Non-Destructive Testing and full-scale manufacturing.
This commitment fosters a collaborative approach among the industry stakeholders, encouraging knowledge sharing and technology exchange to accelerate progress towards shared sustainability goals and will enhance Wales’ position as a key player in the global aerospace community.
